Bio

Loa is originally from the Pacific Northwest where she was born into a large family surrounded with art and music.  Primarily a self-taught pianist, at the age of 13, she was named church piano accompanist, later performed original compositions as a singer/songwriter, and learned the bass guitar to perform with local bands.  She also joined local theaters and performed in several regional plays.

After moving to LA, Loa dabbled in comedy and began taking acting classes and workshops during the day, and composing, engineering and producing original music at night.  Loa occasionally subs with cover bands, and managed, played bass and sang lead vocal for local LA band "The Organ Donors" for more than six years.

Recently, Loa landed a supporting role in "Ashley Jones is Perfectly Normal," a comedy feature film earning excellent reviews.  She also starred in "LoAllie," a co-hosted comedic weekly web segment focused on life, love, and Los Angeles; and "Who Killed The Bible Salesman?", a semi-scripted comedic web series.  She was also cast in "The Jerry Fairfax Show," a comedic semi-scripted web series which ran for nearly 200 episodes.

Loa has strong creative talent and roots, but with just as sharp a head for numbers she also has an accounting degree which was helpful in supporting her two now-adult children.  In between acting and musical pursuits Loa freelances as a line producer for various LA production companies.

In her spare time Loa enjoys photography, hiking, painting, lifting weights, writing, kicking puppies, cursing iMovie, and punching herself in the face.
